Twenty nine years experience in transportation and logistics in various sales, operations and supply chain positions beginning with Ryder Systems. McCreary started with Ryder as a sales representative and achieved numerous promotions leading to middle and senior management over a fourteen-year career.
He purchased Howard Trucking in St. George, Utah and served as its President and Chief Executive Office in critical turn-around years for the Company. After selling the Company, he accepted a position as Vice President with Transport International Pool (a GE Capital company). Following was a very successful assignment as Director of Business Development with Customized Transportation (CTI) (a CSX company). While at CTI McCreary developed significant supply chain solutions for John Deere, Caterpillar, Meritor Automotive, GE Appliance, Ingersoll-Rand and Chrysler.
At CTI, McCreary was awarded the CSX Award of Achievement for the John Deere parts distribution solution. He was a co-founder of Worldwide Logistics Solutions, Inc. was the visionary for the John Deere LOAD Center solution, along with solutions for other Fortune 200 clients.
McCreary is a graduate of Murray State University, Kentucky and is a member of the Council of Logistics Managers (CLM). He has been a frequent speaker at The Georgia Tech Supply Chain symposium and other industry events.
